Following the donation of 3 acres adjacent to his monastery in the fall of 2025, Rinpoche’s dream to establish a means of support for the monks immediately began. The vision of the construction of 10 guest houses plus a convenience store (accessible to larger community) is underway! Estimated cost to build one guest house is $20,000usd.
The goal is for the rent from the guest houses and the profit from a small convenience store will greatly help the monastery become self-sufficient.
An amazing thing has happened! Due to the generosity of 2 donors, the cost of three (3) guest houses has already been funded!
Overall cost for 10 guest houses will be $20k x 10. The addition of $50k for store start-up makes a total project of $250k. Our remaining balance is now $190k.
