Sangha Teaching on Dorje Drolod (aka Dorje Trollo), Oct 13, 2024

Guru Dorje Drolod was the focus of this teaching. Rinpoche noted that Dorje Drolod is one of the 8 manifestations or appearances of Guru Rinpoche. Rinpoche elucidates each of Guru Rinpoche’s manifestations, and the particular enlightened activity that each represents. He then focuses upon Dorje Drolod, enumerating the special qualities of this manifestation that are especially powerful and especially relevant to our present dark times. Rinpoche describes different aspects of the Dorje Drolod puja and their benefits.

The Dorje Drolod puja is performed every January before the new year at Tana Monastery in India and at many other Vajrayana Monasteries.
