Dedicated to the Yelpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism

Mahakala Puja at Tana Monastery, February 14-16, 2026

At the end of the Year of the Snake, on February 14-15-16, 2026, the monks at the Tana Monastery will perform the annual 3-day intensive puja which focuses on Mahakala, Mahakali and the entire assembly of dharma protectors. This practice serves to pacify and remove obstacles for all sentient beings, both near and far.

May all our obstacles – outer, inner, secret – be dispelled! Whoever connects to this practice creates auspicious conditions for the accomplishment of personal aspirations both worldly and spiritual. May all beings benefit and receive blessings from the protectors!
