Fundamentals of Meditation – Part I, Summer 2021
The “Fundamentals of Buddhist Meditation” class is closed.
Tana Dungsey Rinpoche will be teaching an online 6-week class on the “Fundamentals of Meditation”. Classes will be by Zoom, June 13 to July 25 (no class on July 4) on Sunday mornings, 10-11:30 am MDT. The class is for any students, new and old, friends and families of Pundarika and Tana Yelpa sanghas, who want to learn or refresh their experience with the fundamentals of Buddhist meditation. The class will include basic instruction in shamatha, expanding and stabilizing awareness, objectless meditation, the Four Immeasurables, and our enlightened nature.
Rinpoche will, as usual, be teaching on different levels: old students will experience the subtle wisdom of pithy insights that are applicable to an established practice, and students new to the dharma will learn the fundamentals that are necessary to establish an effective meditation practice. Cost, $90; scholarships available. The class includes an optional personal interview with Rinpoche.
We are sorry but registration for this class has been closed.
