Dedicated to the Yelpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism

Akshobhya Teaching and Empowerment, Boulder Colorado, June 20, 2026 (In-Person)

Akshobhya
Since ancient times Buddhists have performed the Akshobhya empowerment to overcome the karma that feeds negative habitual patterns. In the Mahayana traditions, Akshobhya is a bodhisattva who has empowered and unburdened practitioners for thousands of years. The implacable Buddha Akshobhya – immutable with vajra-like precision – also presides over the Vajra family in Vajrayana Buddhism.

This empowerment couldn’t be timelier as a spiritual aid to burn up negative karma over lifetimes. The earth and inhabitants all need deep attention.

Tana Dungsey Rinpoche, the head of the Yelpa Kagyu and Hungkara lineages in Tibetan Buddhism, has agreed to provide teachings and the Akshobhya empowerment on June 20th. Join us in this ancient purification ritual.

“In our worldly life and in our spiritual path, there are always obstacles. For karmic obstacles, there is no remedy like Akshobhya.
Rinpoche bestowed this same empowerment on his mother, herself an advanced dakini practitioner, many times, which shows how important it is to him.
I am eager to go. It is so important, that I will bring my 93 year old mother!
I am so glad the sangha will receive this!”
