Akshobya
Since ancient times Buddhists have performed the Akshobya empowerment to overcome the karma that feeds negative habitual patterns. In the Mahayana traditions, Akshobya is a bodhisattva who has empowered and unburdened practitioners for thousands of years. The implacable Buddha Akshobya – immutable with vajra-like precision – also presides over the Vajra family in Vajrayana Buddhism.
This empowerment couldn’t be timelier as a spiritual aid to burn up negative karma over lifetimes. The earth and inhabitants all need deep attention.
Tana Dungsey Rinpoche, the head of the Yelpa Kagyu and Hungkara lineages in Tibetan Buddhism, has agreed to provide teachings and the Akshobya empowerment on June 20th. Join us in this ancient purification ritual.
